The opening ceremony of 2015 Summer School for Undergraduates hosted by School of Management was held in Zhongguancun Teaching Building in July 13. Vice President of UCAS, Party Secretary of School of Management, vice deans and assistant deans of School of Management, the director of Post-Graduate Education Management Center of School of Management, together with 100 undergraduates from key universities of China, attended the ceremony.
Dong Junshe, the Vice President of UCAS, introduced UCAS and the relationship between UCAS and UCS to the undergraduates. He said that the undergraduates were welcome to UCAS, the nearest place to science. He was glad that the undergraduates chose to join in the summer school of School of Management and wished them a pleasant stay and satisfying grades.
Prof. Shi Yong, the Vice Dean of School of Management, introduced School of Management and the summer school for undergraduates. He hoped that the participants for 2015 summer school would acquire what they wanted at the end of the program.
Finally, student representative Zhu Luyao of China University of Political science and Law spoke on behalf of all the participants. She expressed gratitude to UCAS and expectation to the rich activities of the summer school.
The opening ceremony marked the start of one-week-long Summer School for undergraduates.
