School of Management launched Innovation and Entrepreneurship MBA in 2013. To expand the influence of the program, School of Management hosted 2014 Annual Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The forum was held at School of Management on May 11. More than 100 guests from the industry of innovation and entrepreneurship and venture investment, hi-tech development zones, incubators, institutes of CAS, alumni, and teachers and students from UCAS attended the forum. Prof. Zhao Hong, the Vice Dean of School of Management hosted the forum.
Prof. Wang Shouyang, the Executive Dean of School of Management delivered a welcome speech on the forum. Wang Shouyang pointed out that the Entrepreneurship MBA program launched by School of Management laid emphasis on cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. It also offers support to innovation projects of students. He believed that with the effort of everyone, the program will have a very bright future.
Then Mr. Zhang Jingan, President of China Association of Hi-Tech Development Zone, and Mr. Ma Shengjie, Deputy Director of Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park， reported on “scientific & technological innovation and hi-tech entrepreneurship” and “Zhongguancun entrepreneurial ecosystem” respectively.
On the forum, four enterprise tutors spoke on the development of start-up enterprises and enterprise incubation. They were Mr. Zhu Xiduo, Executive President of Zhongguancun Enterpriser Association; Mr. Sun Qixin from Torch Hi-Tech Industry Development Center, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China; Ms. Lang Chunhui, partner of Innovation Works; and Mr. Tang Zhongcheng, partner of CowinCapital.
