Background: With the breakthrough application of big data, computing power and learning algorithms, artificial intelligence has become the key technology to promote the economics and social development. In recent years, large-scale pre-training models such as Chat GPT, AIGC and Huawei Pangu have sprung up rapidly. The Foundation Model is becoming a "new highland" in the field of AI, leading a new wave of intelligence. These cutting-edge AI technologies also have a profound impact on research paradigms in economics, management, forecasting science and other reseche fields, bringing a series of new research issues. In order to better promote the cross-research and innovation of AI frontier technology and economics and management disciplines, CAS Center for Forecasting Science, UCAS School of Economics and Management, ShanghaiTech University School of Entrepreneurship and Management , and Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics, Xiamen University, together will organize the seminar, focusing on Chat GPT AIGC and other AI cutting-edge technology principles and their impact on economics, management, and forecasting science, to promote the integration of AI and economics and management disciplines and carry out interdisciplinary exploratory research.
