Introduction：
Andrea Filippetti is Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics. He has been Visiting Researcher at Birkbeck College, University of London, Fulbright-Schuman Post Doc at Harvard University, Center for European Studies, and Visiting Researcher at the University of Queensland, Australia. He is interested in innovation, regional development and institutions, the globalization of intellectual property rights, technological change and productivity growth.
